Reviewing the status of my SIP last night, I was dismayed to discover that it had expired 5 days ago. Following the link that Sel kindly provided, I applied on-line for a renewed permit. Following the bouncing ball I was amazed at the number of titles available. Hell, they open the door, don't whinge when I come waltzing through!

I informed Lord Graeme Whithouse of this plethora of opportunity and he likewise has determined to waltz through said door. The question is, how many other distinguished Fellows and Ladies are likely to be out and about on Maroon Dam? Might make life a challenge for any Fisheries Inspectors when I tell them that I've been seconded from my duties at UQ by the Minister himself, to check their job performance??

Best regards to any "little people" out there.

If it's of interest to any-one, I've reduced and printed a copy of my SIP to ID/Credit Card size and laminated it. I carry a copy in the wallet and stick a copy to each yak.
If any-one wants it, it's just a matter of e-mailing a copy of your SIP to my office : or phoning me on mobile 0421 356 236 then faxing a hard copy. Happy to do it prior to the trip or any-time for that matter. If you're going to fax, please call during business hours.

Your documents are ready My Lord. Will you send the coach around and I'll deliver them to your Squire, or will I give them to Lady Olivia?

Your humble servant

You speak to me as if I had an interest in your minor achievements Professor??
Leave it under the mat and leave by the back door. Dare not even sniff at Lady Olivia's backside on your way past. Peasant.

OR -

Thanks mate, I'll get them off you at the dam.

Lord Graeme.

I am not worthy. I thank you Mi Lord for your most magnanimous gesture.

Yours in obsequiousness.

Prof Jeff

Er hang on a minute: If I'm the Professor, wouldn't that make you Gilligan or Mary-anne?

Original Titles within the DPI website, not yet used by myself or Lord Gra are:
Mr
Mrs
Miss
Ms.............. Settle down Brad : I think Toni will want that one
Sir
Dr

Cameron was originally after the honorific of Rev but sadly that is not available. I did suggest he could be a Dr ( of Theology ) and his duties could include Blessing of The Fleet. Lamentably absent also are Commodore or Rear Admiral (Ret), Father or The Honourable.

Get in quick!!

Hi Sel,
I dont think there will be any probs with the electric guys, except for them wanting to know where the action has been.
Thanks for the offer about the shirt, I had a better idea during my after lunch saturday nap, I went out to Charltons myself. It isnt exactly on the dark side of the moon, is it?
They dont sell t shirts. They do sell lures and other bits I needed or think I need so a bit over a hundred bucks and a chat later i left happy.
See you next week,
Tom

That's my plan. A servo bag each and we'll be right for two nights.

I was talking to one of the caretakers last week, I asked the wood question and they said there is some in the paddocks, and we are welcom to it.

I have an ultra sharp axe now Gra so we can chop some up if we find some however I plan to bring some from home and work.

It will be vold up there at night so a big fire will be great but then again it will be dependent on the wood supply.

Not long now, I suggest some of you get financial to get amongst the prizes.

Any thing else we need to consider?

Cheers
